FAQ

  • Is the facility clean, safe, and well-maintained?
Yes. Our staff routinely vacuums, dusts, cleans, and wipes down equipment, checking to ensure it is in good working condition as they do so.
  • What kind of equipment do you have?
We have a balance beam, parallel bars, crash mat, blocks, springboard, barrel, and high bar.
  • Is the equipment age-appropriate?
Yes. Our staff is trained on what gets used for class based on the ages in the room and also how it gets set up so it can be used or explored based on the abilities.
  • Do you have safety measures in places such as padded floors, spotting techniques, and first-aid certified staff?
Yes, we have mats on top of padded floors; our coaches are trained in spotting techniques, and our staff is first-aid certified.
  • What happens if my child gets hurt during class?
Depending upon the level of injury, the policy changes. Your child's well-being is top priority. If it is a small stumble, we check on your child, let them take a break, and get them back in class if they're up to it. If it's more serious than that, we will call parents and let them decide what to do. If it is an obvious cut, broken bone, or something very serious, 911 and parents will be called.
  • What are the qualifications and experience of the instructors?
We demand that our instructors have experience teaching, working with kids, and first-aid. They are trained thoroughly in our policies and procedures once they're on the team to ensure your child is safe and learns the tumbling skills expected for their age/class.
  • How do you handle different skill levels in class?
Each child is placed in a class that is age-appropriate and will work with their skills at that level. The skill levels do not vary drastically and each coach works with the group and finds ways to challenge each child while ensuring everyone has fun and isn't pushed too hard.
  • What is the student-to-instructor ratio?
    8 students to 1 coach.
  • How do you ensure kids are learning in a fun and supportive environment?
It starts with our Coaches. We invest time in connecting with them—checking in, offering support, and creating space for honest conversations. When our team feels seen, supported, and balanced, they bring that same positive energy into every class. Kids can feel it—when their coach is happy, engaged, and present, they thrive!
  • What's your approach to discipline and motivation?
Our coaches do not discipline. They invite students to take a break by sitting with parents, along the wall, getting a drink, or grabbing a snack if the student seems to need it. As for motivation, coaches encourage students to try new things and to build their confidence in themselves by reminding them of what they've learned already and how this new thing is similar and how capable and strong the child is. This technique works more often than not.
  • What age groups do you offer classes for?
18 months - 10 years old. SuperNovas are for 18 months - 3 years old. TumbleStars I are for 3-5 year olds. TumbleStars II are for 4-6 year olds. AcroStars I/II are for 6-10 year olds.
  • How long are the classes?
SuperNovas and TumbleStars I/II have classes 45 min long. AcroStars I/II are with us for 55 min.
  • How often do classes run?
We offer classes Tuesday-Thursday and Saturday. Members sign up for 1 class a week.
  • Can we do a trial class before committing?
Yes! Book your trial on our website for $35.
  • Can parents stay and watch or is there a viewing area?
Yes! There are some seats by our front desk and big glass windows if you want to enjoy a beautiful day outside and still watch your child.
  • Do you offer private lessons or open gym sessions?
Both, yes. Private lessons are available, though most of our clients believe their child receives enough attention during our group class that a private lesson isn't necessary. Open Gym is an option for practice! Our friendly staff is there if you need us, but they are not interacting with your child as they use the space during that time.
  • What skills will my child learn at each stage?
In SuperNovas, your child will get comfortable with the equipment and moving their bodies with more control under your supervision (or a care-giver's). In TumbleStars I, your child will explore fundamental gymnastics focusing on skills to build coordination and confidence using the high bar, parallel bars, balance beam, springboard, and floor exercises. TumbleStars II dives deeper focusing on technique as they continue learning gymnastic skills, coordination, and control using the same equipment as TumbleStars I. AcroStars is a more advanced class that focuses on acro technique to improve agility, confidence, flexibility, and strength. We begin steering them away from gymnastic equipment and lean into cartwheels, aerials, handstands, and bridges.
  • Do you offer a structured curriculum or progression system?
Yes, we do! When you sign up for your Monthly Membership, you receive a pamphlet for your student and you get to follow the journey of your young tumbler.
  • Will my child get individual attention and feedback?
Yes. Our class ratio is capped at 8:1. That means that our coaches are able to spend more time getting to know your child and what their goals, strengths, and weaknesses are in order to assist and support them in their journey.
  • How do you accommodate kids with different learning styles or special needs?
Our coaches receive some training in communication and how to talk to a broad range of people to help them understand faster. For example, some learn best by hearing the instruction, some by watching, some by feeling and our coaches are trained to cover it all quickly and to pick up on the needs of the child. Our staff is great with children of all abilities and are delighted to do what they can to support your child.
  • What is the cost of a class or membership?
Monthly Memberships are $145/month. A Trial Class can be purchased for $35 and after that we look forward to you signing up for a membership to continue tumbling with us!
  • Do you offer sibling discounts or multi-class packages?
Not at this time. Our current members have no need for such things.

  • Is there a registration fee?
There is no additional fee to signing up as a member. You simply pay the membership amount. If you sign up half way through a month, we will pro-rate your first month for you.
  • Will my child make friends and build confidence?
